Over 30 years in ministry, as well as diverse training, qualifications and experiences in the fields of education, business, theology and counseling have provided Bernhard and Colleen with a unique depth of knowledge and wisdom which they now share through teaching, training, counseling and mentoring.

Both born and raised in sunny South Africa, in 1999 Bernhard and Colleen felt the call of God to pioneer a church plant in Christchurch, New Zealand. Over the years they have ministered in New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, the USA, and Southern Africa.

Bernhard had a real encounter with God during his university studies as a 21 year old, and from that time on knew that God had a call on his life for full time ministry. He is particularly interested in faith and leadership and has a dynamic speaking gift. He travels extensively, encouraging pastors and leaders to build the Kingdom, and stay the course.

At age thirteen, Colleen responded to a call from God to go to the nations. Her desire is to see people set free from emotional bondage through prayer, intercession and prophetic counseling. She loves to activate gifts and callings over people through seeing and declaring what God is doing in their lives.

Nothing compares to the joy of family! Colleen and Bernhard are both privileged to come from God-fearing homes where their parents and grandparents before them modelled how to live for Christ. The example their families set has profoundly impacted how they now live. A hunger for God’s presence and His word, a love of worship, and a passion to see the gospel reach the ends of the earth are all gifts passed down from the generations before them. It is now their greatest joy to have their married children, along with their spouses, serving God and continuing the work which was passed on to them.

When they’re not enjoying their delightful grandchildren, Bernhard and Colleen love to travel, discover new cultures, make music, and support their favourite rugby team (Go Bokke!). Bernhard also loves riding his Honda Shadow 750cc motorcycle.
